June 9, 2012 marked the 31st anniversary of American actress Natalie Portman. As she is very private and does not like to make public the personal aspects of her life, the beautiful new mom preferred to stay out of the limelight with this opportunity. She started her day by taking a stroll with her father. Dr. Avner Hershlag lives in Los Angeles, too, so the father and daughter duo had the chance to start such an important day together. While they were walking in a residential neighborhood, her allegedly husband, Benjamin Millepied appeared, together with the child of the couple, 11 month old Aleph. The family strolled together, enjoying a sunny day in the beautiful citiy, while keeping the birthday celebrations of Portman very low key. Portman appeared to be in great shape. She was dressed in what seemed to be a very cozy dark mauve dress with a blue pattern and had black flats, a black bag and also black sunglasses. Millepied was also dressed comfy and had around his waist hanging a baby carrier that he used to carry Aleph at some point.

Her father was in jeans and a shirt, while cute ginger head Aleph rocked a blue blouse, white pants, as he was barefoot. The family seemed to enjoy their time together, moreover as Portman was very busy in the last weeks. The actress finally started working after being a stay at home mom to her son. She has a part in Knight of Cups, a new drama directed by Terrence Malick. In the movie, Portman appears with Cate Blachett, Isabel Lucas, Christian Bale and Wes Bentley. The film is the story of a man who is searching for the love of this life and for truth.

Since giving birth, Natalie Portman has kept a low profile, as she dedicated all her time to her son. The public was unaware even of her wedding, until the designer of the wedding rings she and husband Millepied wear made it all public and spilled details about his work for these famous clients. The pair met on the set of The Black Swan, where Portman had the leading role and Millepied was the choreographer. They got engaged very soon and they had baby Aleph short time after beginning their romance. On June 14, 2012, the little one will celebrate his first birthday.
