Natalie Portman is a wonderful Jewish-American actress. She was born in Israel in 1981 and moved to the United States of America when she was just 3 years old. In 2003 she graduated from the Harvard University with a degree in Psychology. Because of her final exams she could not attend the premiere of one of the episodes of the Star Wars series, as she was studying. Natalie Portman declared more than once that for her, the studies are more important than her acting career. Unlike the most of the Hollywood actresses, Natalie Portman is multilingual. Besides English, she speaks Hebrew, Japanese, French, German and Arabic. A few years ago, Natalie Portman confessed that she only feels at home in Israel, even if she will continue to live in the United States. In 2011, the young actress earned an Oscar for her role in The Black Swan.

Her job in The Black Swan did not only brought her an Oscar, but also a fiancée. On the set of the movie, Natalie Portman met choreographer Benjamin Millepied with whom she started a beautiful romance. Before the movie was finalized, she publicly acknowledged their relationship. Until her Oscar nomination was announced, Natalie Portman was already engaged to Benjamin Millepied and pregnant with their first child. At the Oscars, Natalie Portman appeared with Millepied and everyone could admire the beautiful couple. Short after the ceremony where the actress received her first Academy Award, she gave birth to her first child.

Aleph Portman Millepied was born in 2011 and was the first child both for Natalie Portman and for her fiance Benjamin Millepied. She named the baby boy to honor her Jewish heritage and plans to teach him Hebrew, too. Although there were rumors that Natalie Portman married Millepied, the actress did not respond to them. In 2012, at the Oscars, the couple seemed to wear wedding bands, making the press wonder if they finally got married. In February 2012, it was confirmed that Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied married in a private ceremony, after the jeweler that made the couple’s bands released more details about their union.
