Natalie Portman soon became famous around the time that the next Star Wars movies came out in the early 2000s’ it was George Lucas who made her into a princess who could control one of the more important characters of the movies which was really a very important role to play. While working on this latest Star Wars Trilogy Natalie was attending Harvard University doing her bachelor’s in Psychology. Now she is one of the more learned actresses in Hollywood however this is not something that will give her acting career any kind of boost. Natalie Portman was originally known as Natalie Hershlag which is a name that comes from her original routes in Israel. Her parents where humble and simple people however now her mother works as her agent and takes care of the bigger business. Most people except her devoted fans would know the fact that Portman is a vegetarian at heart and does not like the idea of killing innocent animals. She is an eager animal activist who will not wear any products that come from animals when they can be taken from the ground instead.

In 1996 she plays a part in the comedy hit movie Mars Attacks and then it is three year before we see her again in the 1999 first Star Wars episode called the Phantom Menace. During the next few years while she is working on the other Star Wars movies we see that she also has time to make a few other movies as well as attending Harvard College. In 2001 she plays a star role in Zoolander and then the next 3 years in 2004 she stars in the academy award winning Closer which was granted several awards as well as being nominated for many more. The second Star Wars movie came out in the middle of these two movies in 2002 called Attack of the Clones. Later in 2007 she appears in the children’s movie Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium which is still a big success in DVD sales for kids.
